Sorry for the long rant but not one single news outlet in Ireland has reported on the bond payments and no one seems to know that Ireland had out money every month until 2015............ Yesterday the government gave €9,798,271 to Irish life to pay unsecured bondholders, in laymans terms the tax payer gave almost €10 million to irish life so they can had it over to investors (most likely foreign businessmen and companies) who should have lost their investment because the bank went belly up and the Irish bailed it out (we also are giving bank of Ireland €7 million on tuesday 27/08/13)..... next month we are giving EBS €50,000,000!!! €50 MILLION!!!.... to pay unsecured bonds!!! Water tax, motor tax, property tax, VAT, tv licence, dog licence, household charge all go to pay some rich people who gambled, lost but we still paid out. IF YOU COULD HAVE VOTED AND NOT BAILED OUT THESE BANKS OR AT LEAST ONLY BAIL OUT THE GUARANTEED BONDS WOULD YOU HAVE VOTED NO? THUS GONE AGAINST THE MORONS (COWEN AND CO) WHO LISTENED TO THE CRIMINALS IN ANGLO IRISH BANK ETC? A new party has been established called DDI..... even if you dont like politics or think EVERY politician is a criminal or just dont understand it check out DDI and see who we could have running the country if we vote for them instead of the Islands most popular party Finna Fail (bertie, cowen and co) directdemocracyireland.ie Remember Iceland (unlike Ireland) decided not to pay the bond holders and they have a stable economy because they didnt burden their citizens with these criminal taxes
