Looking for an entry level position in artist management? Love classical music? Located in NYC and looking for a flexible schedule? John Gingrich Management is hiring a part-time Administrative Assistant. John Gingrich Management seeks qualified candidates for a part-time Administrative Assistant, aiding in all of the daily operations of the company. John Gingrich Management Inc. is a classical music artists management company that has been involved for more than 31 years in all the phases of the artist’s career and represents an exclusive list of chamber music ensembles, conductors and instrumental soloists both in the United States and abroad. This is an open-office work environment located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and a unique opportunity to work a flexible, self-determined schedule within daily operating hours. The candidate should have strong writing and organizational skills, be self-motivated and attentive to detail. We are seeking the kind of person who will notice a potential improvement or issue and will take action independently to create a plan to address it. The candidate must have a highly functional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Responsibilities will include, and are not limited to: -Drafting contracts for artist engagements and working closely with the President to provide engagement support such as booking flights, coordinating itineraries, etc. -Assisting in contract management and execution for the Great Mountains Music Festival & School as well as providing any additional administrative support on an as-needed basis. -Updating and maintaining the website using Wordpress. Training will be provided, if needed. -Bookkeeping using Quicken and annual tax preparation for the accountant. Training will be provided, if needed. -Maintenance of the contact database in Microsoft Access. Training will be provided, if needed. -Paying monthly bills and scheduling monthly cleanings. -Answering phones, general filing and office maintenance. An appreciation for classical music and the arts in general is welcomed but is not necessary. John Gingrich Management is an equal opportunity employer. The first commercial manager to serve on an NEA advisory panel, he received the Fan Taylor Award for Service to the field in 1992 from the Association of Performing Arts Presenters (APAP).
