Looking forward to a little break with my family over the next few days. Im so thankful for my family & friends. We cherish every moment that we get to spend together. Its been very busy this last several weeks with camps, district board meetings along with my pastoral and other district responsibilities. While chatting with Missionary Michael Benson from Africa yesterday, I was reminded once again of the importance of team work. Im so thankful for all those in our local assembly and district who help make my load lighter. To the Pastors who faithfully help me with hosting Missionaries, to our local ministry assistants who go above and beyond each and every week always asking what they can do to help me, to my family who supports me wholeheartedly with their love and prayers, to our faithful congregation who go over the top to show their love & support...THANK-YOU! Ooops, I cant forget to thank Rachel Jones for looking after our Charlie while were away. We are blessed with many friends who constantly express their love and kindness to us. Just as we were getting ready to leave, a couple dropped off a gift card to look after our deep sea fishing expense and Louise Stillman dropped by and gave us a hug and a nice gum drop cake to take with us. We are so blessed by every expression of love & kindness. My Oncologist recently told me it was a huge miracle that I have been able to continue full-time as pastor, presbyter and District Global Missions Director along with several other things Im involved with while having such a serious brain surgery, 30 radiation and 122 chemo treatments. I know I couldnt do it without the Lord & the great team I am privileged to work with. I will never cease to thank the Lord and all of you for all you have done for us. We love you all so much!
