Looks like Chicago isnt on the radar for the 2017 KCBS banquet for another year. But at least we have 2 more locations in the Southeast up for consideration!!!! Funny how I keep asking what needs to be done for us to be even put on the map for consideration.... I get no response or no direction. We are one of the largest areas for membership. No banquet has been in our region. We have banquet/hotel facilities out the ass that can handle the largest conventions in the world. We have unbelievable food, 2 international airports, Amtrak, Greyhound, public transportation, museums, attractions... Did I mention good food? So whatever Nashville did, could someone from Nashville put in a good word for us? You all have had 2 and we cant get even get mentioned. At least we have been to San Diego and Philly. It tells me that we arent basing it on being a BBQ mecca with those choices. Which Chicago could be considered a BBQ mecca... Any help would greatly appreciated.
