Looks like Ive always wanted to be just like you...3-22-13 Geno was previously from Lake Hiawatha where he was known to talk to anybody and everybody at the Sunoco where he worked. Before that, he was a retired truck driver for Picatinny Arsenal. Geno was a World War II army veteran where he developed his hatred of spam and his love of chipped beef. He was also a past member of the VFW Post 242 in Boonton. He taught his kids and grandkids how to drive, to check the oil regularly, not to let the tank get below a half, and how to politely curse out drivers. He had a soft side too, welcoming everyone with a smile and a laugh. Geno’s happy-go-lucky personality made him unforgettable. Well miss how he was first in line at Dairy Queen, his Bugs Bunny cartoons, his love of trains, his appetite for candy, his new found taste for Jell-O shots, his dirty jokes about meatballs, the way he sneezed after he ate, his old man cuteness, how he met up with the guys for coffee every morning and how when you told him you loved him, hed simply say thank you.
