Loosing too many friends lately! Woke up at 4am and checked my news feed and the very first post I saw was the one Johnny Mack posted about our very close friend and music brother Chris Drake loosing his battle with cancer. Known him a long time and it really takes a lot out of a guy to hear the news of someone so close departing this life so soon, especially being so far from home. The bro was such a trooper about the whole thing and never complained at all. I actually thought he was improving and would pull through, but I guess it was time for him to go home. Chris was definitely a music lover, always coming out to watch us play and supported our local seen and had excellent taste in music, he had an awesome selection of music at his house and use to invite me over sometimes to show me stuff Ive never even heard of and we would have a blast. Man it was a blessing to have know him and we will al miss him so much, I only wish I would have called an talked to him. When I get home from work tonight, Ill play a song for you brother, God rest your soul and rest in peace old friend.
