Lord, as I walk into another day, the trees around me cast such long shadows by the early morning sun. There is so much darkness around me, BUT I am thankful for when my path crosses the occasional penetrating ray of light that brings me warmth. Oh, God, I dont know what I would do in this life without that light that you sent into the world. Your Son, Jesus, has given me the everlasting warmth of your hope. Whatever might be waiting for me down the road, Im just going to cling to what I have found in you. Dont just lead me, Lord. Apply me to your will, today. I praise you on my journey with tear filled eyes, because you are giving me the peace and joy that I know will see me through. I love you, Lord, with all of my heart. Be with me, as I am for you. In your precious and Holy name, Amen!
