Lord knows I try to avoid the political and controversial shit that gets posted on Facebook. But, before you agree with and post an article that rips apart the men and women fighting in this current war and deny them as heroes, please make sure your own family does not (or has never) serve. And if they have, I certainly hope it wasnt in Vietnam, because we know how divided the country was over that. In war, nothing is pretty. Innocent lives are lost, be it children, women, YOUNG AMERICANS and thats part of it. I certainly dont and wont take anything away from those men and women brave enough to risk their lives while we all sit back, watch Netflix, eat Cheetos and drink pop 24/7. It must be nice to have that outlook and pass judgment on those who serve. Id appreciate anyone who feels these people arent heroes to please unfriend me or comment on this status so I can do the task myself. I also wish YOU were sent over there to tell these HEROES just how you feel.
