Lord, please blanket Ferguson, MO with peace. This young mans parents are getting no pleasure and no comfort from their city being torn apart; if anything, it heightens their pain and keeps them from just being able to cope and heal privately. Theyve lost a child and need Your arms of comfort around them. Justice and fairness need to be exercised, but whether or not the outcome is exactly as hoped for, please bring peace and closure as only You can. Cause the entire truth to be revealed, regardless of what it is or whom it offends. This situation is one where there can really be no winners, because it is so tragic and wrong on every level. Pierce the conscience of the media and anyone else who would exploit this to sell news stories, incite violence, or to promote ulterior motives. I cant begin to know exactly what to ask for except Your divine intervention. This whole mess was never Your will, from the killing to the racial division. May Your people stand in the gap and intercede until the storm passes. Your children are not a color, we are Your body. ONE body.
