Lord, save me & my house! Genesis 7:1, 5 And the Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation. And Noah did according unto all that the Lord commanded him. What if Noah only did 99% of what God told him to do? He and his family would have been lost in the flood with the rest of the people who refused to listen to the voice of God. It takes great faith to listen and act on Gods word. Noah was a perfect example of great faith because he immediately acted on what God commanded him to do. And He didnt listen to the voices of doubt and mockery from the people around him. He heard Gods voice only and he got to work building the ark. Keep in mind that it had never rained before and that Noah was building this massive ship on dry land! Can you imaging all the mocking he must have endured? But that didnt stop him. He didnt care about being accepted by the people around him, he only wanted to be accepted by God his savior. Noah stood on Gods promises for 120 years before the rain started. How many of us wont wait on The Lord for longer than a month, week, or year? Let us all strive to have this same great faith!
