Lorissa kept all of her medications down tonight!! She is watching a movie and hopes to fall asleep soon. Lorissa walked numerous times today, her x-ray came back good and is starting to get an appetite. Tomorrow Lorissa will have an ECHO and EKG done. We will start our transplant education information this week. Lorissa will take a test to prove that she can care for herself and understand the dos and donts of her new health journey. It wont be long until her new lifestyle will be natural and wont have to worry about what she can and cant eat or taking her medicines at the right time. The staff is so good about answering questions for us as we think of them. We are already understanding better what her new diet limitations will be. I went into the restroom to brush my teeth and Lorissa was sitting on the couch where I sleep looking out the window. I hear this soft little mom so I opened the door and didnt see Lorissa. She had laid down on the couch and couldnt get sat back up. She said she felt like a turtle stuck on its back. She is getting her silly side back.
