But I went on delayed entry because I had to go back to high school for one semester the year after my class graduated because I needed one class to graduate. Because I was an idiot. 2. Colleen Makinen Godfriaux has been my best friend since I was 5 yrs old. Judy Clark Makinen Tanzer was a second mom to me growing up and Ill be forever grateful for the laughs and love from her and Les. 3. My parents owned a bar in northern il through my teenage years. My mom says Im being fancy when I say Im from Chicago, so now I usually say I grew up in a bar in Wisconsin. 4. Despite being outgoing and seemingly friendly, I feel shy a lot of the time. I get nervous around groups of people. But I seldom show it outwardly. 5. I had my daughter 3 weeks before I turned 21. I raised her as a single mom (even when I married for a year and half) and she has been my greatest love. 6. I have been in love with a potential life partner 3 times in my life. Now is one of those times. 7. After parenting for 23 years and Madison Catherine graduated with a degree in engineering, I moved to Mexico with my dog and my car and didnt know a soul. Or how to speak Spanish. I was terrified. It was the 2nd best decision of my life.
