Losing my Dad is the saddest day of my life! Not only was he my Dad but we were Pals...We spoke every day - he had a way about him that everyone wanted to be around him. He was funny - he gave great advice to others. He was not only a member of AA with 41 years of sobriety, he was always there to help anyone that needed help. I remember as a kid my Dad bringing strangers home and he would make a Sunday Dinner and whoever was sitting at our kitchen table my Dad would invite to dinner. He really took pride in helping others. This is why I am so sad because my Dad was always their for his kids too...I told him everything - things you only tell a friend - thats because he was also my friend.. We were all very lucky to have this man in all our lives - he was one of a kind!!! I love you Dad.
