Loss to El Toros 40-34 After the soaring highs of last weeks - TopicsExpress

Loss to El Toros 40-34 After the soaring highs of last weeks the cats came crashing back to earth in the final Minor round game of the season tonight at MARS. It was a disappointing night for the belter crowd who witnessed typical cats brilliance at times although the undermanned cats couldnt do it consistently, which wasnt going to be enough to beat an inspired El Toros. It wasnt all bad however, and it was good to see another cats fan live out their life long dream tonight with Matthew Bob Kelso Kelson make his debut. He was a little scratchy but when he finally managed to get a basket it brought the house down and the grin on his face stretched from ear to ear. Other highlights included hillys amazing skills and Jimmy Blews moments. Im going to have to chalk this loss up to the boys not being warmed up before the match. Im thinking we might need to get Gary Cock to get the boys to run a few 400ms before the game as the boys looked flatter tonight then they ever did after a Monday pre-season training. It may also be the loss we had to have before the big semi final next week. The umpiring sucked mega time as well. Lets put this one on the brave pile and focus on finals next week. 3- t hill 2- j blew 1- s Parrish And 1 point to kelso who will be having sweet dreams about his points scored for the cats for the rest of his life. If there is nothing else we can take out of tonights game at least we made one guys dream come true. Picture- a nervous kelso pre-game
