Lothar Johann Karl Peters age 72, of Fifield, and known as Luke and Lolo to his family and friends, died on Thursday July 11, 2013 at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff. He was born on July 30, 1940 in Lubeck, Germany, the son of John and Elfriede Peters. His early life and schooling were in Germany and Milwaukee. Lothar worked for Sawall Construction in Milwaukee for 40 years. On February 11, 1984 he married Patricia Carl in Milwaukee. The couple moved to Fifield after retirement. He was a deacon at Family Worship Center for five years, enjoyed hunting, fishing, and loved his dogs. He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-son David, and (4)grandchildren Funeral services will be held on Monday July 15, 2013 at 11:00am from Family Worship Center on Hwy 13 in Park Falls. Rev. Terry Wilson will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday from 10:00am until the hour of the service at the church. The Novitzke Funeral Home is assisting the family.
