Lots more to this but trying to keep it short - suffice to say, a good young coach is gone… One parent angry over playing time and position her son experienced makes a complaint to the school district. Since she can’t call it what it really is, she complains about language and behavior of the coach. The district investigates and finds nothing truthful about the complaint. The parent then recruits one other parent and they aggressively take to social media and spread negative messages throughout the community for several months. Coach gets fired because the administration thinks it is easier to find a new coach than take on an angry parent. As soon as word got out, 200+ parents and former players sign a petition asking for the coach to be reinstated. Not going to happen. Question… where were all these people when one or two people were able to cause this to happen? If you have good coaches, stop being a silent majority when they are attacked
