Lots of driving today, and in Friday traffic to boot. But got a lot done today, came up with a solution to a problem a captain was having (happy captains being the best kind), and still managed to drive from Ocala to Altamonte then on to Orlando comm center with the last coconut custard pie and a big tray of peanut butter brownies and other less interesting miscellanea. Claudia approved the pie. FHP dispatch approved the brownies. Cindi approved of getting all the temptation outta the house. Win. Win. Win. Gonna have my Friday night peaches, sweet potatoes, and red wine (per my nutritionist, honest) and doze off to the Steelers vs. Titans (its the only game I have on the DVR at the moment). On deck for tomorrow: laundry, vacuuming, Gators game at noon, and cooking supper for my aunt Beverly (pork loin, roasted carrots, cabbage, and homemade corn bread). Trying to stay either busy, or asleep, so as to not dwell on yet another imminent surgery on Tuesday. Ugh, Im over it already.
