Lots of new parents in my life so I thought I could share some bad parenting experiences I have personally committed. That way you can feel more confident in your lack of skills or competence. At the time our only child was Whitney. I had to go get something so I thought I would take her along for a small bonding opportunity. I grabbed the car seat and put her in the front of my VW bus. We take off. I was coming to the first major intersection i had to apply the brakes very quickly. Thats when I discovered I had not strapped the car seat in. Whitney and the car seat flew forward with, of course, Whitney face planting on the dashboard. Blood everywhere. Turned out to just be a cut on the inside of the lip. No ER run. She lives today and is so beautiful. Live your lives parents. Your kids will survive in spite of you.
