Lots of people asking me if the bookstores are allowed to put the books out early as they have. No. They arent suppose to. For an author buying their book the first week of release is important because it helps get them on the NY Times. Books put out early count the prior week and on a tight week even a 100 books is the difference between making it or not. That said, we as authors are still excited to have readers excited to buy our books so we are thrilled you want to rush out and buy them. Is it ideal to wait, yes. Will I complain that you were so eager you had to have it now? :) Not a chance. Im thrilled you get that excited! That is an honor.
