Lots of people have shared the recent Russell Brand interview with Paxman, yet never provided any of their thoughts on it really. i.e. do you agree? Ive read a few bits from him, not least about the death of Thatcher which was also well documented. Brand does offer a new edge to political debate and he has a brand which politics has not yet encountered - hes savvy, has a huge amount of influence and his passion makes him very believable. His interview is pretty solid although I feel that it is a bit contradictory at times. He talks about flaws with the current political system but lacks realistic solutions instead referencing the Middle East uprisings as a point of reference for what is about to happen here and in the western world.
