Lots of people to thank for all of their hard work in putting on such a successful fundraiser at Albuquerque Little Theatre yesterday. An early guestimate says we raised close to $1,400!!! More important is that everyone had a blast! Thanks to Thrill the World Albuquerque for holding their event here - almost 130 registered participants. Where do I start with the rest of my thanks? As you know, an event of this magnitude takes many committed volunteers to make it a success - and that they did! Thanks to my committee members - Fabianna Tabeling - great jobs with the games! Carolyn Hogan, and Sharon Garassino for their tireless work at the tickets, concession, costume, and raffle sales (should we have given them something else to do?), Daniel Tabeling for putting together a great magic show and to his talented magicians - Lando Ruiz and Brian, Elizabeth Bailey, whos face painting station never got a rest from the walking dead - and thanks Diane Green for bringing them! Nick Tapia was amazing organizing the vendors - also thanks to Nicks Mom for donating the paint and to his boss for providing the helium tank (that shits expensive), awesome work from Linda Deimer gathering all sorts of raffle donations - so many, in fact, that they are going to spill over into other fund raisers, John A Craig was tireless running around where ever he was needed, Emily Melville was a great asset at the kissing booth (NOW youre sorry you didnt come, Ill bet), Ceptembre Tedescos powers of reading fortunes was awesome, Stephen Balling was a big hit as The Monster - he entertained all day long! Ashley Levitt rocked it at the games booth. Thanks to all the great vendors who participated, I loved all the great crafts and promotions. I cant say enough about the two incredible ALT staff members who added this event to their already large work load - Colby Landers and Jason Ryan Cook - you guys are saints. Thanks to the entire ALT staff for all there labors and support towards this event - Henry, Dehron, Paulette, Jessica. Thanks to board member Jason for his financial contribution towards the raffle - and again Carolyn too. I know there are several others I may have missed and my apologies for that. All of you please know that you are loved and loveable! Your efforts went towards supporting this great, historic institution. THANK YOU ALL!
