Lotus Xi 2-1 AC Copnor A good result without playing that well and with a strong wind throughout. Chris Owen-6- made a good save 1st half and then injured his hand before conceding. Great Lino 2nd half Neil Patterson-6- started up top and played 2nd half at RB. Could have been sent off for an accidental last man challenge. Chris Poulson-7- steady again. Great in the air and kept trying to play from the back Russ Garland-7- did enough although he kept giving corners away!!! Muppet Sammy Humphrey-7.5- best start to a season that hes had. Playing some great football, 1st touch was good and made a couple of good challenges. Pete-6.5- struggled to get on the ball due to conditions and the long ball game. Linked well when going forward and was unlucky with an effort in 2nd half. Matt Sutherland- 7.5- played well 1st half in midfield, ran out of steam in 2nd half but made countless challenges and played part in winning goal Adam Bowles-6.5- played some good stuff 2nd half when he played in a more advanced position. Daniel Ayling-7.5- made the opposition look silly for 90 mins. All he needed was a goal to top his performance, unfortunately he almost hit the corner flag Lewis Davies-7- great 2nd half when linking with Alfie. Volley kid is back, although not his sweetest strike Alfie Fisher-7- played well 1st half and took his goal brilliantly. Scrappy 2nd half didnt help Alfie. Dave-6- went in goal 2nd half with a back suitable for a wheelchair and a broken thumb, kept clean sheet Well played lads. MOM- Dan or Matt, Sammy very close too
