Love, If we ask a number of people what that word meant, we would get so many different answers today. Every person would give a different meaning as to what that word means. Even Christians will give different meanings to what that word means. Believers say God is love, and think of love as an emotional euphoria. In Psalm 119:66a the psalmist wrote Teach me good judgement and knowledge, you see he wanted to learn. and be taught correctly on how to discern the details of life correctly. In Phill 1:9 Paul taught that love should abound more and more in knowledge and judgement. You see we as believers should have a discerning and precise love led by proper teaching of the Bible. Very different from the worlds concept of love. I remember reading that the Thessalonians were taught of God to love one another because they had received the word as it is in truth. In 1 John 2:5a John wrote Whoso keepeth His Word, in him verily is the love of God perfected. Gods direction from His word, perfects our love with a healthy flow. Jesus said that man should live by every word of God, and we should do that in the area of love. Amen.
