Love Within the Family The Lord created the family to be a binding unit that would be able share their pain, sadness, disappointments, love, and kindness with one another. But many of us have lost the true meaning of family because we are to caught up in our own agendas; and we only call upon those we call family in the midst of our storms, suffering, and disappointments. God didn’t design the family to act in this manner. However, it is because of our selfish and sinful desire that we have become broken families. Families that have more individualism in themselves because they only think about their our own selfish needs and no one else. The Lord said in, Proverbs 11:29 whoever brings ruin on their family will inherit only wind, and the fool will be servant to the wise. We must remember the Lord created the family? For the Lord did not want man to be alone in the world; so he made Eve to be with Adam and he called them family. The Lord said in, Matthew 10:35-37 for I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a persons enemies will be those of his own household. Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. The same way The Lord requires us to love him as our Heavenly Father; he requires all men, woman and children to love each other as a family. If we love the Lord and believe in his laws; we must change our hearts and remove the bitterness we have for one another; and learn to love each other unconditionally as a family.
