We know that this is stretching what a post should have to be relevant to this page but we wanted to share. Last week a musician from Portland, Maine was in Louisiana when a police officer shot and KILLED his labrador mix dog that at the time was leashed to a post and threatening no one. Eye witnesses say that the officer had been petting the dog, that the dog made no threatening movements towards the officer, and that he smiled after he shot the dog. In many ways the entire state of Maine is like one big small town and the owner of the dog has friends here in this area and throughout the state. There is a facebook page called Justice for Arzy where you can voice your support for Brandon, Arzys owner, and the page has links to a website where you can donate money to his legal fund.
