While Jeremy has been out in San Diego this week, I stayed behind - TopicsExpress

While Jeremy has been out in San Diego this week, I stayed behind to finish up the tank in the biology lab down at the University of Cincinnati. This tank is home to only inverts (their protocols dont allow for fish). They came to us a few months ago asking if we could rework their existing tank that had been uncared for over the last 2 years while their lab was under renovation. The inverts in this tank are used for hands on learning for both undergraduate and graduate students. We set the tank up for maximum success for their situation and we owe a HUGE thank you to the folks at Kessil lighting who gave them a discount on their lighting package so that we could stay within their budget. We look forward to continuing to provide inverts throughout the year for their studies as they progress. It was very cool to get to learn new things that the average hobbyist or even aquarium professional doesnt know about some of the critters that we deal with on a day to day basis. For instance....did you know that feather dusters are actually related to earthworms? I didnt, until today!
