If, like me, you have struggled with the exponential growth rate of technology, which has far outstripped the evolution of our collective wisdom to manage the ethical, moral and social issues arising from these profound changes, this piece is essential reading. For those unable to make it through the entire article (and in the spirit of traditional philosophical discourse he pulls you gradually in to some rather deep linguistic and dialectical waters before rising back up to the surface), I give you this quote: There is nothing soft about the quest for a significant life.
