Love how Arsenal fans are using the wrongful dismissal of Gibbs as an excuse for yet another drubbing. Also, if you had to pick the two most similar looking players of the 22 on the pitch that include contrasts such as Luiz, Rosicky, Mertesacker & Schurlle, you would probably pair together Gibbs & Oxo as the most similar. It was a bad mistake by the referee, but out of the corner of his eye I can see how he made the error. And, if you asked any Arsenal fan which player theyd rather have in their starting line-up out of Gibbs & Oxo, theyd all rather Oxo played anyways. AND... Why should the referee believe a player saying it was me, ref, it was me! ? Referees are endlessly trying to be conned by players regarding decisions. If I was the ref Id have doubt as to whether the player was bring sincere ! Thoughts?
