Love is Strange (Rewritten) Faiz Kabir He said "My friend" He was half mummy half alive With face twisted to one side One eye three fourth closed Sitting on a chair, unable to smile full He kept on telling his story Not smooth though here and there. His "My friend" was sitting in another corner Well groomed, picturesque with curly hair Painted eyes and scripted look. Initially I thought Nothing special It happens, very common Dying man, young woman. But I felt a sudden jolt With her answer to my comment "You look very pretty". She said she did have make up and dress Because " he feels happy when he sees her that way". She had eager questions Coming up so deep from her heart depth I could see a mammoth - ocean of love Suddenly in front of me I had to humble my presence Seeing a true love So asymmetric and so profound.
