Love is . . . on this Harvest Moon, in years when the Harvest Moon - TopicsExpress

Love is . . . on this Harvest Moon, in years when the Harvest Moon falls in October, the September full Moon known as the Full Corn Moon traditionally corresponding with harvesting corn. It is also called the Barley Moon for the same reason. The Harvest Moon glows orange in color resembling that of the Great Pumpkin preparing for its arrival of Halloween. It shines forth the coming of the autumnal equinox when once again day and night balances itself into equal times with night becoming longer. There are many inhabitants whom are strongly influenced by the cycle of the Moon, especially when it is full. Such as, Neil Young who references the full Moon in 28 of his songs. He will sign long-term contracts with the influence of the full Moon and on the same token will not sign short-term contracts under its presence. The “Heart of Gold” hitmaker has planned much of his creative life around the lunar calendar and irritated countless associates by refusing to leave the house when there is a full Moon, no matter what his obligations may be. And then of course there is the song “Harvest Moon,” by Neil Young. Writers: Schmidt, Regine, that speaks for itself. https://youtube/watch?v=tF5jRbJFgBI
