Love this political ad. It just makes me giggle (and throw up in my mouth a little) to think that our Governor has the audacity to think that "We, the people" would even entertain the idea that he was truly unaware of the speeding incident as he claimed. The most pre-occupied passenger could not possibly overlook the performance of a vehicle that is traveling at a high speed while it swerved in-and-out traffic lanes. While there is the issue of equal application of the law, the most important issue is being over-looked which is the danger this vehicle placed on other drivers that shared the road that day. No matter what, a person in this position should lead by example. And I may be incorrect, but as far as I have observed, Governor Branstad has not even apologized or taken any accountability on this issue. That should be the first mission of anyone in his position, even if he was genuinely unaware of the matter at hand.
