LoveBirds Daily Devotional with Praise Fowowe(c)2015 Welcome 2015 – Mind your business 2 Seesth thou a man diligent in His business he shall stand before kings and not ordinary men I had a short mental intercourse with my Boss on a flight from Atlanta to Texas in November because I was tired of everything I saw around me and wanted to know why folks we detest and whose spirituality we undermine were the ones inventing everything we testify about from cars, to houses and even trips to their countries. As a matter of fact a man once told me that there was nothing such a man could teach him only for me to remind him that should those guys withdraw everything they have invented or created from his body he would be back to garden of Eden in nudity cos their intelligence made everything he was using from the microphone he was using to amplify his voice to the shoes and clothes in his body to even his boxers. He looked stunned but I left him with a question ‘Mention one thing you have created that is relevant to the entire world? As I pondered on my troubled question to my Boss He laughed at me a little and responded with a quote from King Solomon 1 of Ancient Israel ‘Seest thou a man diligent in his business he shall stand before kings and not ordinary men’ I was about to protest because my religious mind had read the place as ‘seest thou a religious man’ only for him to shock me further by telling me there are 3 core prerequisite for standing before kings and they are 1. Are you a man? 2. Have you found your core business? (The whole essence of your creation) 3. Are you diligent in your business? The tragedy of life is many of us have left our core business to pursue electives or simply put you spend more time in your electives than your main courses and my Boss told me there is no way you can become No 1 when you spend more time in busyness and activities that are not in line with your business. When Ronaldinho spent more time on his business he was the world’s numero Uno footballer but when he started spending more times on the electives called clubbing his career nosedived. Christiano Ronaldo did not become No1 by accident he spent more time on his business horning his talents and same goes for any man who has ever made it to the top. Any system that seeks to make your abandon your core business to pursue their own business or that never seeks to establish you in your place of planting where you can blossom isn’t your friend, it is your enemy.
