Lovely friends...I am supporting something called the Big Ask this coming week. St Matthews is a church in Perth. Its the church I grew up in, the church where my late granny worshipped, and where my parents still go. In addition, we as a family have had fantastic support from them in recent years through family bereavements particularly their minister, Scott. The congregation is now trying to raise a whopping £950,000 to refurbish their churchs sanctuary. This will include better access, lighting, modernising of the fabric or the church and a new AV system, all with the view to helping them in better serving the whole community through their ministry. I know how they feel about the importance of what theyre trying to achieve, as in my own church we are looking towards the same type of redevelopment, albeit on a smaller scale. This has been a huge, long term project for St Matts, but theres still a lot to raise. Ill be giving what I can, and know how grateful the whole congregation and especially their minister Scott Burton will be for whatever help you can give. Thanks
