Low clouds and fog may dominate the skies over the south plains Friday morning. Lows will be chilly near 40 in Lubbock and a little warmer in the areas along the caprock. As for tomorrow, a south to southeast wind at 10-20 will keep temps mild, around 70 degrees with some sun in the afternoon. By Saturday, a chance of light showers during the day and possibly some storms in the evening and overnight, depending on the path and timing of the next storm system. Saturdays high near 70.
