Loyalty has no place in Ladojas political dictionary I remember - TopicsExpress

Loyalty has no place in Ladojas political dictionary I remember that in 2011, when the then ACN (now APC) jettisoned primary and handpicked its candidates in some places, many people left the party and majority of them joined Accord. Im now hearing some people labelling those leaving Accord because the sole owner of the business imposed candidates on them. Is it not hypocritical for Accord party members, especially those who defected from the then ACN and joined Accord to be describing those who are leaving Accord for the same reason they left the ACN and other parties in 2011 as not loyal to Accord? Our people are very funny. If it were to be the APC that imposes candidates for election, they would have reacted bluntly to it. What is called loyalty when you spend everything you have to build a party from the scratch and only to be told when it is election time that youve no say? Apology to nobody, if not for the late garrison commander of Ibadan politics, people like Sen. Rashidi Ladoja couldnt have become governor in a State like ours! And he betrayed Babas loyalty, though some people will say that Baba was greedy. Baba was not greedy when he handpicked Sen. Ladoja instead of Alh. Yekinni Adeojo who had earlier been defeated by my mentor in the 1998 gubernatorial election that ushered in the Fourth Republic. When Adedibu/Akala sent our future Olubadan to exile for 11 months, it was the Chancellor of Bourdillon Political University Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu whom God used to secure him. But what did he later say of the Jagaban of Borgu? Why are the likes of Barr. Adebayo Abdul-Raheem Shittu, Barr. Sharafadeen Alli, Mr. Dele Adigun and other known allies of Sen. Ladoja no longer with him? That is not for me to answer. I may not like Accord but I know of some guys who toiled day and night to make Accord what it is today. These people tackled anybody that writes anything about Sen. Ladoja, though most times, they lie but they were loyal to him despite the fact that they are not in government. At least if Sen. Ladoja would repay his wives, concumbines...for what theyve done for him by fielding the latter cronies and children, it shouldnt be by trading loyalty for enjoyment. They should be made to face primaries, to test their loyalty! But now that everything has scattered and Sen. Ladoja now resting outside the country, according to reports, how will the centre hold again.
