Lt. Col. William H. "Bill" Woolard, U.S. Air Force, Retired, passed away yesterday at his home on St. Simons Island, GA. Lt. Col. Woolard previously resided in Sylvester and was a long time member of Pinson Memorial UMC. As many of you know, he was very active in the church and in the community. His funeral service will be at Pinson on Friday, July 12th at 11:00 am. The family will receive visitors in the church sanctuary beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Sylvester. A memorial service, including full military honors, will be held at St. Simons UMC on Saturday, July 13th at 11:00 am.
