Lucy passed away during the night, she was fine, they told me I could fetch her, about 5.30 they called and said they were keeping her over night just to make sure everything ok, just after 7 they called to say she passed away. I cant even tell you what from because I was in such shock I stopped listening. I feel horrible and cant stop crying. My husband and the kids are devastated. Its so unfair. I have spoken to PACT Lynette Naidoo and Neeri just to let them know what happened. I have no idea how I will manage for the next few days I cant tell you how sore I am inside. To everyone who fought so hard with us for her to give her love and a new life I can only say think you / I am sorry - I was following my vets advice to abort her puppies because of the medication she was on ( injections for the mange) her babies would have been sick. I wish I could go bk in time and make new choices and still have her with me/us. No animal that had passed thru my life has affected me like Lucy did / she was my miracle angel and I was so proud of her. I do believe in God / I told him she better b there when I get there or I will tear the heavens apart to find her. Not much else I can say / I am in my kitchen with a miserable dog family around me. We will collect her ashes and bring her home. I miss her so much I just want her back.
