Luke 1: 26-33 Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!” But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was. Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.” __________________________________________________________________ Who is Jesus? Some say He was just another man, some say He was a prophet, some say He is a fairy tale made up in the minds of man, others believe He is the Son of God sent to be the salvation of all mankind. If Jesus is not important why did mankind base the calendar on Him? Prophets spoke of Him, His life, ministry, and death hundreds of years before His birth with astonishing accuracy. The records of His life, ministry and death have stood 2000 years of scrutiny and still stand untested, the more man tries to disprove Him the more they confirm Him. Have I ever saw Christ with my own eyes, no, have I ever physically touched Him or had a face to face conversation with Him, no. Has he been interviewed on the news or a talk show, no. Does that mean He is not real, absolutely not. I have total faith and 100% belief that Christ is real and HE is everything scripture says HE is. There is a spot in my heart where HE resides, and only He can fill that spot. I do not have to see Jesus to believe HE is real, HE works in my life daily, I see his presence all around me. I have searched for reasons to deny Him and I have come to the conclusion that Jesus is real and I am nothing without Him.
