Luke got in trouble yesterday so I took away his phone and iPad and all electronics. He was NOT happy and it was a bad day for all 3 of us. Today he is loving, sweet, appreciative and in a happy mood and just keeps telling me how much he loves me. He is is quietly reading way more than his required 20 mins. and hes actually getting into his book now!! I felt like crap last night and cried in private because I so hate punishing him but its just part of raising respectful, good citizens. Lesson #1- Kids CRAVE, need WANT boundaries whether they admit or even realize it! (its in the bible!) Lesson #2-Technology, as bad as I hate it, has its place, but theres nothing better than family/human interaction and a good book!
