Lumbee Homecoming 2014 has been wonderful!!!!! I want to thank everyone who purchased THE RAVEN SPEAKS yesterday. I hope with all my heart that it brings strength in adversity. I have to admit, its not my personality to sit at a table and sale something of my own. I am so blessed to be so well known among my people that trying to sell something interfered with my enjoying Lumbee Homecoming. So I stayed set up for a while and then put things away. I have the book and will figure out the next steps. Sherlean Hardin Ivey and Laura Hardin Brewer, Jamie K. Oxendine, Cara Pearson, Raven Stanley, Ryan Stanley, Nora Dial, Letha Strickland, Layla Rose Locklear, Magnolia Oxendine Lowry, Ron Sutton, Stoney-Pat Chavis, Geneva Sutton, Marla Locklear, Cody Godwin, Pearlean Revels, Larmari Louise Mitchell, Joan Lowry, Austin Mikhail Lowry and dozens upon dozens of others dotted my day with moment after moment of joy and laughter.
