Lunch outing at Chilis with my mom, sister, and two nephews, Luke and Carter - and for those unaware, Carter has cerebral palsy. It was the first time trying out Carters Kid Kart in a restaurant, as it tends to draw undesired attention, but everyone was nice and respectful. We ordered our drinks, food, sides and desserts and enjoyed the family time. Upon receiving our check, the waitress informed us that a gentleman had already paid our bill. We all responded accordingly - shocked, but immensely grateful. Were not entirely sure why the gentleman felt compelled to buy our meal for us, and he had already left so we were unable to thank him, but its so reassuring to be reminded that there is still good in the world. Faith in humanity restored.
