Lunch w My Dad Funny Mom is visiting w sis, faith in Montana. Dad calls & asks if Id like to have lunch w him. He made Taro & Chicken. So, I go over to his place. (My parents are my neighbors)...we sit down to eat. #JustUs Dad: so, whats new? Me: do you really wanna know or are you just making conversation? Dad: I wanna know. Me: I start telling him about my divorce drama... Blah, blah, blah. Then, I tell him about my new love interest. ❤❤❤❤Hes Samoan, hes your good friends son & I really like him. I talk to him every night. Going on & on. Dad(intrigued): his dad & I are really good friends.(Nodding w approval) I approve as long as youre happy. I get along w his dad & uncles. I really like his family. Me: yeah, but its just beginning. If it works out, then its meant to be. Dad: thats the silliest thing Ive ever heard. If it works out, it means you didnt scare him away w your ridiculous,unrealistic demands. Me(offended): WTH... Really, dad?! Dad(LOL): sorry, babe... Ur coming from a good place but you can be bossy. It takes a strong guy to handle that. U get it from your mom. Me: Dad, Youre mean. You think, Im bossy? Dad: It doesnt mean I dont love you. If you werent bossy, you wouldnt be you.
