Lying down thinking about how all this started, like the video blogging and all this sort of stuff, the amount of distance Ive traveled the amount of new people Ive met over the past few months and I ask myself is it really all worth it? My answer to that is yes, it is worth it, all the negativity I get all the abuse walking around with my friends all my features that people try to make fun of, what people dont seem to realize is that Im really comfortable with the way I look and I have massive self confidence, some call it cockiness but ah sure if youve got it flaunt it.. But nah I wouldnt consider myself ugly Further on, thinking of how all this video making and how it started, it was basically a small time idea that set me off, I was in my back garden on a warm day and I just decided to tell my little brother to throw a glass of water and name it an Irish waterslide, I threw the video up on this and set it on public only expecting 100 likes or something, I went offline with it on 129 likes to be exact, woke up the next morning to 4000 likes and I kept refreshing my video as I was so excited, then I started to get followers, but was then told to put the video on private as a few relatives were telling me I would never be able to handle the abuse that I was going to be in for.. so after a while of my video being on private I then put it back on public, started getting more followers then I moved onto my second video, that also got great feedback but then I started a course in health and fitness and then stopped making videos for the short term with only about 6 videos to my name at the time, I was told to give up my Facebook career if you like to call it as I was losing focus on my course work and project work and all that, but I stayed going, completed my course got into video making, start getting noticed by the bigger Facebook vloggers and I was so excited to see at least a reply from them, or even if one asked me to make a video with them! Consistency is key to anything I guess. If you believe that you will do well in something, stay at it regardless of what people say or do. Self belief is everything, have self confidence and be true to yourself, take no stick give back what you get and just be you. There was once a time I started off on Facebook with no friends or even followers, now I have 51,000+ followers some of whom Ive had the pleasure of meeting and I love you all. Hopefully 2015 has a lot more to bring for me!
