Sarah to update the poster, make a facebook event and book a classifieds ad. Veg Swaps – we have had two of these at Lisa’s Larder and they have been successful and a great place to meet people. The October one is the same day as our Jean Genie, and we fear not enough veg to swap in Nov and Dec. So... Emily suggested we start afresh in Spring 2014 with a seed swap or seed planting activity and keep it going for as much of the year as we can with appropriate activities and promoting other events. Project Wild Thing – Film Screening – Wed 30th at 7.30pm in October Half Term at Lymington Comm Centre Cinema. Ideal for 11 yrs plus, parents, teachers, grandparents... Tickets £4 on eventbrite. Jim brought 60 posters to distribute and put up in and around Lymington. He will email out an invite with poster attached. Jim and Kate to write some editorial for the A&T to hopefully go out on the Friday before. We could promote and sell some tickets at Jean Genie. Christmas Fair and Festive Jean Genie – Sat 7th Dec – 10am Lym Comm Centre. People gave their ideas for handmade/local stalls to Emily to invite. Kate would run the wreath making craft activity. We will also run a jean genie style Christmas decoration making activity. The New Park Christmas Fair is on the same weekend. Food Challenge hopes to have a stall there on the Sunday. Kate also interested in running the wreath stall on the Sunday too. There is a possibility to run 2014 Christmas Fair at St Thomas’. Transition Exhibition 2014 – Transition Lymington could run an event during the month of the exhibition that would automatically be a fringe event for the Exhibition. This could be a Jean genie type event, film showing, bike event.. Potentially a month in Feb/March time or Oct/Nov time. Solar Farm Co-operative. Kate Chapman to email more details.
