Lyzah Mathews was two when she got deathly ill, which what we thought was the flu. We moved her to childrens hospital in Little Rock Arkansas and found out she had HUS which stands for hemolytic uremic syndrom. They said it is caused from food poisioning but could never get a source. The disease attacked her kidneys, part of her brain, her pancereaus which caused her to have diabetes, she could not put out urine anymore, and it attacked the low part of her intestine. In this time of horror we lost lyzah three times and by the grace of god he blessed us with her today. She does dialysis now at home, and is waiting to receive a kidney transplant to turn her life around. Its has been a difficult three years for us.
