M4C - Statement of Purpose The radical changes in society we are experiencing demand a capable and adaptive new generation of leaders who are committed to good governance, social and economic justice, and practicing meritocracy. The Movement for Change campaign intends to provide Nepalese society a road map for bringing about a truer democracy, in which all Nepalese regardless of their ideology, ethnicity, caste, gender, beliefs and persuasion can freely seek, enjoy and promote equality, justice and human rights. Politics has a great role to play for the progress of any country in the world. Corrupt and misplayed politics have dragged the country into a vortex of problems, adversely affecting development initiatives. It is a fact that Nepal’s developments are stalled by political instability. The crisis of political leadership and political will has caused severe socioeconomic instability in Nepal over decades. Our society can only emerge out of the current crisis when politics is redefined and realigned with the rule of law, along with sustainable socioeconomic development. We must engage the public across the socio-cultural to improve the political process. M4C’s mission is to help foster unity and commitment to the nation when it comes to thinking, acting, and delivering towards socio-economic progress. #Nepal #M4C
