MAJOR GERMAN POLITICIAN BLAMES CHANCELLOR MERKELS LEADERSHIP (ET Al.) FOR ANTI-MUSLIM UPRISINGS IN GERMANY! Hans-Peter Friedrich (CSU), a major German politician and former minister in Angela Merkels government, has blamed her partys leadership in the Muslim migration issue, in that protest movements like PEGIDA and the political party AfD were created out of the sheer frustration of average Germans over the loss of their cultural identity - which the mainstream German establishment failed to anticipate, in Friedrichs opinion. Friedrich also criticized (once again) the passing of double-citizenship laws which have overwhelmingly benefited Muslim Turkish nationals seeking to obtain a second (German-EU) passport, despite their often questionable ties to Germany. He called the double-citizenship law a mistake, saying that the German government passed the law without due consideration of all the facts and at a time when the native German population was seeking a clear sense of identity, connection to their homeland and solidarity.
