MAKERERE DENIES SCRAPPING MUBS COURSES! The article published today in new vision (page 4) contradicts the publication that tickled strike-free nerves of the MUBS community in Daily Monitor yesterday. The PRO MUK Ms Ritah denies having had a hand in this publication. Am glad that they have come out to clear the air and if its about the budgetary shortfall then MUBS is past that because we have a financial autonomy! plus it is was a proposal in 2010 that was not passed by council making it a malicious move. My appeal to MUK is to speak on their behalf and in case the policies affect MUBS, we MUST be involved from the onset. Fellow students, our courses are secure, certified by NCHE according to the Ministry report and they meet the highest demand in the employment world. Lets stay calm and concentrate on the core reason we are at the Business School.
