MALAWI IN COMA. -------------------------------------------------- Malawi is in coma, Its economists are in coma, Politicians in coma, Academics in coma, Physicians in coma, Chiefs in coma, Musicians in coma, Journalists in coma, Dramatists in coma, Religious leaders in coma, Social activists in coma. -------------------------------------------------- We are all in coma, Unconcious, Lying flat in a maze, Called Malawi, A nation, at a stand still. -------------------------------------------------- If we were not in coma; We would have not entertained recycled politicians wo cross from party to party, We would have advocated for proportional representative electoral system, We would have said enough is enough, Against the pillage of national resources, Like the Filipino did. -------------------------------------------------- So long as we are in coma, The World Giants will always intervene on our judicial systems, And ask us to condone gays, lesbians, Foreign ambassadors will continue to lecture the government, the president and the citizenry, Donors will continue sitting in out cabinet meetings, Politicians will be entertained to practice partisan politics, Issue based campaign will be a dream. -------------------------------------------------- Despite our unconcious state, We long for May 20, 2014, To entrust power in potential issue based aspirants, Young-old, female-male, religious-non religious, With long term visions, nationalistic outlook, integrity n calibre, To socially transform Malawi, Perhaps, infuse it with the right dosage, TO REGAIN ITS CONCIOUSNESS¤
