MAMAS AND THEIR KIDS! This morning we decided to visit our friend, David at Salt Spring Island Cheese. So while Mom had a chat (and delivered a piece of her scrumptious raisin pie) Mike and I went to visit the Mama Goats and their darling Kids. Oh, it was so great to see all the little ones prancing around, having fun! We were also very fortunate to meet, Marcus, who had delivered all these beautiful babies and who told us a lot about the process of birthing, all the goats names and their origins (wish Id had a recorder!). Marcus kindly picked up Bertha for me to hold (Bertha was the baby we saw last time who was only 15 min. old! She is also one of the two girls in the flock of goats whose names all start with B).:)
